Step-by-Step Application Process
Register on NTA Portal
Visit jeemain.nta.ac.in and click "New Registration". Enter your name, email, mobile and create a password. Note your Application Number.
- Use a valid email and mobile number
- Application number is auto-generated
- Store your login credentials safely
Fill Application Form
Log in with your credentials and fill the application form with personal, academic and exam details.
- Choose Paper 1 (B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch) or Paper 2B (B.Planning)
- Select exam medium (language)
- Choose preferred exam cities (4 choices)
- Enter Class 10 and 12 board details
Upload Documents
Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature and other required documents in the specified format.
- Photograph: JPEG/JPG, 10–200 KB, white background
- Signature: JPEG/JPG, 4–30 KB, black ink on white
- Class 10 certificate (for date of birth)
- Category certificate (if applicable)
Pay Application Fee
Pay the prescribed fee online via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. Fee varies by category and number of papers.
- General/OBC (Male): ₹1,000 per session
- General/OBC (Female): ₹800 per session
- SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: ₹500 per session
- Payment through SBI/HDFC/Paytm/UPI
Submit & Download
Review all details, submit the application form, and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.
- Carefully review before final submission
- Download and save the confirmation page
- No changes after final submission (except correction window)
- Admit card downloaded separately later
