NTA provides a limited correction window after the application deadline. Know what you can change, when, and how.

✅ What Can Be Corrected
- Exam centre / city preference
- Paper selection (Paper 1 / 2A / 2B)
- Category (SC / ST / OBC-NCL / EWS / General) — with valid certificate
- Person with Disability (PwD) status
- Medium / language of paper
- Date of birth (with supporting documents)
- Father's / mother's name (minor corrections)
❌ What Cannot Be Corrected
- Photograph and signature (once uploaded, cannot be changed)
- Name of candidate
- Mobile number and email address
- Gender
- Nationality
How to Make Corrections

Login to NTA Portal
Visit jeemain.nta.ac.in and login with your Application Number and password.

Click Correction Link
Click "Application Form Correction" link visible during the correction window period only.

Edit & Save
Make necessary changes. Upload documents if required (e.g., category certificate). Save each section.

Pay Additional Fee (if applicable)
If your paper selection or category changes result in a higher fee, pay the difference online.

Download Updated Form
Take a printout of the corrected application form for future reference.
