How to Use This Data
The closing rank is the last rank at which a seat was allotted in Round 6. If your JEE Mains All India Rank is below the closing rank for a branch, you have a reasonable chance of admission — subject to seat availability and counselling round.
The opening rank is the highest rank (lowest number) that was allotted. Candidates with ranks better than the opening rank typically prefer other institutes or branches.
For Other State quota seats, the cutoff is typically higher (worse rank) than Home State quota. Gender-specific seats (Female-only) may have different cutoffs.
