Calculus is the Single Largest Section

Calculus accounts for approximately 35% of the Mathematics paper. Integration alone accounts for 4–5 questions per session. Master definite integration techniques and differential equations to maximise your Mathematics score.

Calculus

Integration by parts and definite integral properties are asked every year. Practice the ILATE rule and standard results. Differential equations — variable separable type is the most common.

Coordinate Geometry

Circles and Conic Sections together give 4–6 questions. Standard results for tangent/normal to parabola, ellipse and hyperbola must be on your fingertips.

Algebra

Matrices & Determinants and Probability are the most reliable scoring topics. Complex numbers and Sequences & Series appear regularly — do not skip these.
